Advancing paediatric surgery through education and research

About our trainees

Trainees in Paediatric Surgery
TRiPS logo

As national trainee representatives, we are the advocates of all paediatric surgery trainees across the United Kingdom.

We hold formal positions on the BAPS executive, the ASiT council and the SAC. Through our regular attendance at the meetings of these bodies, and other organisations, we provide a voice for trainees at a national level. All relevant information is then disseminated via our regular email correspondence, the TRiPS website and at the national training days.

We also listen to concerns and matters raised by all trainees and address them accordingly during our meetings with the different organisations.

We attend the yearly Paediatric Surgery National Recruitment Interview Days to ensure that the selection process is fair, transparent and we also collect anonymous feedback from the candidates.
