The aim of the SIGNEC & Neonatal Quality Improvement Conference 2020 is to facilitate knowledge sharing, networking and collaboration to optimise research and improvements in practice.
We welcome neonatologists, paediatricians, surgeons, dieticians, transfusion medicine specialists, epidemiologists, basic science researchers, nurses, trainees and other healthcare professionals with an interest in NEC and healthcare improvement.

13:15 – 21:00: Clinically focused presentations on various aspects of NEC relevant to neonatologists, paediatricians, neonatal nurses, surgeons, dietitians, ANNPs, trainee doctors, researchers in NEC.
Leading global researchers and clinicians in the field of NEC will present on various aspects of
NEC prevention, diagnosis and treatment including latest advances.
30th October 2020
13:15 – 19:30: A QI conference on various aspects of neonatal care relevant to neonatologists, paediatricians, neonatal nurses, surgeons, dietitians, ANNPs, trainee doctors, neonatal managers and QI professionals.
The delegates will be coached on various Quality Improvement methodologies, best practice
examples will be shared and delegates supported to work through a particular QI project or
goal. Attendance of multidisciplinary professionals from same unit will be encouraged to
optimise facilitation of the unit’s QI journey.
19:30 – 21:15: Basic science and some recent advances in our understanding and management
of NEC.
