Paediatric Multi-system Inflammatory Syndrome

In May, Professor Davenport reported on COVID-19 Associated Hyperinflammatory syndrome. The Lancet paper which is referred to by Prof  is titled Hyperinflammatory shock in children during COVID-19 pandemic. In this presentation, we see it comprehensively named Paediatric Multi-System Inflammatory Syndrome temporally asscociated to SARS-Cov 2 (PIMS-TS). So just like the novel Coronavirus there has been a journey to name this Inflammatory Syndrome observed in children.
